Cycle Touring Day 193

We arrived in Toulouse just around lunchtime today. My Rough Guide to France book informed me that there are markets in the Place du Capitole on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays but there was no mention of the Monday market which we discovered when we arrived.

We walked around it for a while but it was essentially just a glorified boot-sale consisting mainly of book stalls and tacky African fare. We then took a stroll around the old town to get some lunch and then walked to the river where we sat in the sun for a few hours before heading back to the car and pressing on with our journey.
