Cycle Touring Day 162

Without BOB, myself and Spesh cycled the 150km in six and a half hours, back to the Maine-et-Loire today to meet friends and spend the week camping in Gennes. It usually takes about 6 hours to cycle 100km when fully loaded up with trailer and all, but even without that but with panniers, 150km in just over the time is pretty good going. I had a bit of a tailwind most of the day which it really highlights just how beneficial (or detrimental when it's blowing in your face) wind can be.

When I left here in July, the Loire still had water in it! What happened?

The work put into building these barns really is something to behold.
